Thoracic Epidural Injection

A thoracic epidural injection is a combination of pain and anti-inflammatory medication, which is injected into the area around the spinal cord (the epidural space), in order to reduce pain in the thoracic region (that is, the upper to middle part of your back). The most common conditions it is used to address are thoracic spinal stenosis, thoracic post-surgical spine syndrome, thoracic disc herniation, or injuries resulting in irritation to the spinal nerves.
